Inventory, sales and warehouse management system
For wholesale distributors of fast-moving consumer goods such as food and household products, with multiple warehouses, many categories and stock managed by the case. The demo covers the full process: business overview, multi-warehouse stock with batch and expiry tracking, purchase receiving, sales from order entry to shipment and delivery confirmation, stock counts, and purchasing, sales and inventory reports. Opening, inbound, outbound and closing amounts in the reports reconcile, and each reporting period is clearly labeled. On phones, tables are shown as cards.
Features
Design and technical highlights
- Available stock and reservations
Stock is reserved when a sales order is approved, deducted on shipment and released on cancellation. Each line is checked against available stock when an order is created, with warnings for prices below cost and special approval for orders over the customer's credit limit.
- Batches, expiry dates and FEFO
Each receipt records the production date and creates a batch. Stock is managed first-expired, first-out, and items near expiry are flagged automatically with suggested actions in the reports.
- Replenishment driven by alerts
Reorder quantities are calculated from safety stock, stock in transit and sales over the last 30 days. Select alerted items to create purchase orders split by supplier. Alerts are counted separately for out-of-stock, low-stock and near-expiry items.
- Stock count variances resolved
Supports open and blind counts, and spot counts by category or zone. Overages and shortages are valued as counts are entered, and book stock is adjusted automatically on submission.
